FAQ & SUPPORT

General Therapy Inquiries

Starting therapy is a courageous step, and it's natural to have questions. This page is designed to provide clear answers to common inquiries about our practice, policies, and what you can expect as we begin this healing journey together.

Insurance & Payment

Do you accept insurance?

SimplyHer Counseling Services operates as a private pay boutique practice. We do not bill insurance providers directly, which allows for greater privacy and flexibility in your care. To keep the process clear and simple for you, we accept all major credit and debit cards for session payments.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and debit cards. Payment is collected at the time of service through our secure client portal.

Cancellation Policy

What is the policy?

Clients must provide at least a 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If an appointment is not cancelled within 24 hours, the full session fee will be charged to the card on file. This ensures that I can offer that time slot to another client in need of support.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your mental health care. This estimate outlines the total expenses for services provided, helping you make informed financial decisions about your care.

If you are uninsured or choosing to pay out-of-pocket, providers must give you this estimate before your appointment. If your actual bill is $400 or more above the estimate, you may have the right to dispute the charges.

For more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or contact SimplyHer Counseling Services directly.
